Anupam Bansal
Anupam has over 25 years of Banking and Payments experience, largely with HSBC. He has held several leadership positions where he led Product Management teams and handled Transformation through the delivery of strategic programmes. Subsequently, he has advised global banks on their Strategy development in a consulting capacity.
He has been responsible for managing a portfolio of Payment products which included the Product lifecycle for Payables and Receivables products in the UK, delivery of Real Time Payments in UK (Faster Payments) and compliance with regulation (PSD). Later he led the strategic programme to replace the Billing and Pricing systems for the Payments business of HSBC globally. Anupam has worked in different geographies in UK and Asia (Philippines and India).
For ECG, Anupam brings his Payments experience with topics of interest including Payments infrastructure, Real time Payment systems, Process design, MI and Billing & Pricing. An area which he would focus on specifically would be Standards migration / ISO 20022.
Anupam is a Chelsea supporter, loves long walks and has an avid interest in Bollywoodmovies.
